Ufford Park is a family owned, 87 bedroom hotel with conference and banqueting facilities, 18 hole golf course and floodlit driving range. It has had a health club operated by Fitness Express since opening in 1992 and had a hotel operated beauty salon with an average monthly turnover of £14,000.

To take over the management of the existing therapist and salon business and create a fully functional day spa.

Outcome
The 11 room spa achieves £33,000 turnover per month and a significant business has been created through the marketing of “fire and ice” experiences in the spa’s thermal suite which do not require any therapist input and therefore increase profitability whilst utilising the spare capacity in this facility. The spa also generates over £35,000 per annum F&B revenue for the hotel.
